Weekly Victory News

Dear Friends,

As I type, I’m listening to the breaking news regarding the active search for the remaining Boston marathon bomber. I’m sure many of you are too. It’s kind of surreal, isn’t it? It’s like a tense episode of “24” in real life. But where’s Jack Bauer when you need him…?

Perhaps by the time you read this though, the situation will be resolved and in a peaceful way. Right now my prayer is simply that God would spare more victims, cause this terrorist’s foot to slip, and bring him to justice. My prayers are also for all those who have been injured or impacted by all the tragic events of this past week.

This week has definitely reminded us that trouble and struggle are chasing us around every corner of life. The ever-looming dark cloud… Will it ever get better? The answer is absolutely yes! This Sunday, Jesus, our Good Shepherd, shares a different perspective on it all. Please join us this Sunday at Victory of the Lamb as we set our sights on the hope of heaven, ear…

Dear Friends,

The Bible makes some extraordinary promises, doesn’t it? Sometimes they might seem easy to believe. At other times perhaps our minds are troubled with doubts and fears. Yet when we’re plagued with misgivings, we can rest assured to know that God longs to lead us to a better place. Join us this Sunday as we talk about how Jesus moves us from doubt to certainty!

Easter at VotL was awesome! We had 283 people in worship and Bible Quest combined…our all-time high so far. God be praised! Likewise at this moment our recorded service has 30 views online in addition to our live viewers on Sunday. Remember if you missed the service you too can view it online or listen to the sermon audio. These are great ways to introduce people to our church or share a helpful message with people.Sharing Christ’s Victory,

Pastor Ben
