A New Year of God's Grace!

Welcome to a new year of God’s grace! The arrival of a new year is the perfect time for fresh starts in our lives physically, mentally, and most importantly…spiritually.

So join me this Sunday at church as we kick off 2015 with a new sermon series called Profile based on a book of the New Testament called Colossians. If you haven’t been to church in a while, it’s the perfect time to come back!

In Colossians, the apostle Paul presents a profile that has the power to change our lives completely. Paul presents Jesus, the uncreated Creator of all things, the image of the invisible God, the firstborn from the dead.

The better we understand Jesus’ profile, the better we’ll understand who we really are in Christ.  In this series, as we work through Paul’s letter to the Colossians, we’re going to see how Jesus truly is our all in all and explore how this truth impacts our lives.

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory” (Colossians 3:2-4).

More Than Bricks is the name of our church-wide capital campaign to raise the funds needed to build not only our own ministry center but also help build the Kingdom around the world. If you haven’t turned in your commitment card yet, please do so soon. The commitments of our members and regular attenders has a significant impact on what we’ll be able to accomplish in 2015. Likewise, important building decisions will be made at the end of January based on the commitments we have received. So if you haven’t yet, simply bring your commitment card to church this Sunday, thanks!
