Victory News - Ministry Center Moving Forward!

“If only I had the body, the mind, the energy I used to have!” Have you ever felt like this? I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that this is the universal experience of all human beings everywhere at some point! And despite what the click bait internet ads would have us believe… there are no special workout programs, brain training regimens, or supplements to ultimately overturn it.

On the other hand, that’s exactly what Easter promises to actually do. The curse of sin…overturned! Join us this Sunday at Showtime Cinema as we mine spiritual treasure from the final section of 1 Corinthians 15. Here God engages our imaginations with some incredible truths about our glorified bodies and what it will be like at the resurrection on the last day! This is truly a section of God’s Word that you don’t want to miss.

A Big News Kind of Week! – Thursday we received official word from the WELS Church Extension Fund (CEF) that our loan request was approved for the total amount we…

Victory News

Hello Friends,

What keeps you going in life? When you have those days where you’re down in the dumps, what picks you up and keeps you moving forward?

As you read through the book of Acts and Paul’s epistles to various congregations, the foundation on which Paul built his life and kept going was the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. The urgency with which Paul ministered was the backdrop of the Last Day.

In the portion of 1 Corinthians 15 that will inspire us this Sunday, we’ll see both truths shining forth. These teachings keep us focused and moving forward as we find our identity in Christ’s resurrection and find our purpose in living for Him!

Victory News - Good Friday / Easter

What’s not to love about Easter? Spring is finally in the air. Nothing beats the powerful Easter music and the fragrant lilies. There’s the opportunity to spend time with family, the tasty Easter dinner, the excited smiles of children racing around to find their Easter basket or that last hidden egg. For many families Easter marks the beginning of spring break and an opportunity to finally slow down a little.

But we don’t want to lose sight of the fact that Easter impacts our lives for much more than a day or a week and its impact on our lives is much more profound than making pleasant memories.

That’s why starting Sunday we’ve got a new series starting based on one of the most impactful chapters in the entire Bible—1 Corinthians 15. We’re going to take a closer look at the fact of Jesus’ resurrection and the wonderful implications it has on all our lives.

Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O grave, is your sting. The sting of …
