Victory News - We're Moving In!

The cross will be a lighted beacon of hope along Loomis Rd
Emergency lighting inspection – passed!

This means we’re officially good to go for having our first services this Sunday here at our new ministry center. Our first service Sunday begins at 9 am. The second will start at 10:45. A new era of sharing Christ’s victory begins!

Here’s what’s going on:

Friday - Calling All Helpers! There’s a lot still to do here at the ministry center to get ready for Sunday. We’ll be here Friday 12/18 from 9 am – 9 pm working. If you have any time during the day tomorrow we’d welcome help cleaning, washing, organizing, and putting stuff together. Please email Cassy or me if you can help, or just show up and pitch in. We’ll be happy to have you!

Donations – There are a couple items we’re looking for yet: new or gently used wash cloths. Two toasters (of the 4 slot variety). A pizza oven.

Operation Jesus Cares – We had a great crew of volunteers at Christ-St Peter school today. Together we helped the school kids pack 150 gift bags and then delivered them to their neighbors with a message of God’s love in Christ and an invitation to their Christmas services. Thank you to all who donated for the event or volunteered. Check out our church Facebook page for pics.

I got to walk along with a great group of 4th graders
Join Us Christmas Eve – for a very special first Christmas in our new church—celebrating the greatest Gift we’ve ever been given! There will be two services on Christmas Eve: 4:30 and 6:30 pm.

Temporarily No Livestreaming – Unfortunately it’s been a challenge getting internet out to our site across Loomis Rd. But we’re used to overcoming challenges! We hope to have internet up and running soon thanks to AT&T. In the meantime however what this means is we won’t be able to livestream our services. We hope to have our video system set up to record the service to upload to the livestream website, but as far as this Sunday it’s going to be wait and see as to whether we’ll be able to have the service recorded. We’ll continue to do our best and let God take care of the rest!

Temporarily No Sunday morning Bible class – Stay tuned for info in the New Year about regular opportunities for Bible study at our new ministry center.

Big Time Thanks! For your prayers this week, for your willingness to serve, and for your patience in dealing with all the changes. To God be the glory, great things he has done! I’m looking forward to a joyful week ahead worshiping God for the gift of his Son—our Savior Jesus Christ.
