Victory News - Greatness Grand Finale
It’s going to be great. The grand finale of our Greatness series that is! Join us this Sunday as Caleb Schultz, our Student Assistant, brings home for us one of the most comforting sections in the entire Bible from Romans 8:26-39. You won’t want to miss it. Come to church Sunday…and go home a conqueror!
And get ready to sing about it on the way home in the car. Here’s the song we’ll be sending you home with. Can’t wait to sing it with you on Sunday!
Scripture Storytelling Event – This Sunday, April 24, 6:30pm – Daniel Dexter memorizes books of the Bible and then shares them in a storytelling style. Join us this Sunday evening at 6:30 pm. Calling a Second Pastor – This Sunday the Leadership Team will be having a call meeting for a second pastor. Please keep this process in your prayers and ask that God would bless us with just the right person to accept our call sooner than later—someone who will be excited to come and serve alongside us in our growing church family!
Baptism Class – Next Sunday May 1, Noon-1pm – I will be leading a one hour class for anyone who hasn’t been baptized, wants to have their kids or grandchildren baptized, or simply wants to learn more about baptism. A free, light lunch will be provided. On Sunday, May 15 we will then celebrate a Baptism Sunday for people who want to be baptized in church at either the 9:00am service or the 10:45am service. Contact me with questions and to register for the class.
The Art of Marriage – I will be facilitating a free, weekend marriage enrichment event here at our ministry center on Friday, May 13 from 6:30-9:00 pm and Saturday, May 14 from 9:00-4:00 pm. For more info and to register please visit our website event page. You don’t have to be a member of our church and you are certainly welcome to invite another couple to attend with you!
Bible 101 – If you missed the first lesson this Wednesday evening, you can still get on board by catching it on Sunday. Bible 101 is a 4 week class and is the next step for those who would like to know more about the basic teachings of the Bible or simply want to ask questions and learn. It is also for anyone who would like to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at our church. Each week you may choose to come on Wednesday evenings starting April 20th from 6:30-8:00 pm or Sunday mornings starting this Sunday April 24th at 10:45-11:45am during our second service, whichever fits your schedule best. You can “mix and match” each week as needed. Contact me to register! Quick note: I am teaching the Wednesday evening classes. Others from our church (including me) will take turns teaching on Sunday mornings.
